working theory?

Coxo  apex locators works according current resistance theory, from the bur point to apex point there is a resistance “R” shown in the picture, when the bur go deep inside continuetly , “R” become more and more smaller, through the current circuit, this constantly changing will reflect on the screen of apex locator by form of data. When it comes to near the apex point , “R” will become smallest, at this time there will be a warning beep from apex locator, warning the bur can not go deep inside again.ples see the picture shown as such below:

Explanation for the obturation gun

Recently, some of our customers have commented on c-fill (obturation gun).They said that the temperature of obturation gun was not enough hot to dissolve the gutta-percha. The explanation for this problem as follows:

Speak frankly; there are two kinds of gutta-percha on the market. One is like Meta; this kind of gutta-percha of the melting point is lower than others. Working temperature is below 200?.Another kind of gutta-percha is like DENTSPLY. This kind of melting point is a little higher. The working temperature is above 250? and it’s easy cooling. The gutta-percha like DENTSPLY always uses with the wired obturation gun. However our c-fill is only effect on the gutta-percha like Meta.

What is a Curing light ?

    A curing light is a light which is designed to rapidly cure a resin. Curing lights are used primarily in the dental industry, where they are used in fillings, sealants, and adhesives for various dental procedures.

    In the dental field, a curing light can use ultraviolet(the halogen Curing light)or visible light(the LED Curing light ), depending on what it is designed for. Both dentist and patient need to wear eye protection to limit damage to the retina for even the 20 seconds to a minute that the light is in use during rapid curing, and the light needs to be well maintained so that it will work properly and effectively. It’s also important to use the right curing light for the right resin product; many lights are designed to handle a range of resins safety.
